Womb Healing Ceremony
A sacred healing ceremony involving energy healing and the Rite of the Womb, the 13th Rite of the Munay-Ki, which is an energetic transmission brought forward by the feminine spirit of the Amazon for the purpose of healing the feminine creative center and releasing personal and ancestral pain, from one womb to the next until every womb is healed.
The 13th rite, the Rite of the Womb, was born of the Munay-ki, a lineage of Amazonian medicine women who freed themselves from suffering and transmitted this rite to teacher Marcela Lobos in 2014. She has formally shared it globally.
It honors the 13 moons of the year.
The Rite of the Womb healing transmission is passed from woman to woman, creating a connection of recipients who become “Womb Keepers.” They can pass on the transmission to others.
One does not need to receive the foundational 9 Munay-Ki rites to experience the 13th Rite of the Womb.
The ceremony concludes by offering the plants used during the ceremony that absorbed the residual energy from the session, back to the Earth. We give thanks to the Earth, Divine Feminine, spirit of the Amazon and Munay-ki for this healing transmission.

A Womb Healing Ceremony helps honor one’s both their personal and ancestral experiences and the energy carried within the womb and the creative center that’s ready to be released.
Following the same procedure as a Healing Session, the Womb Healing Ceremony focuses on providing healing to the womb and its web of energetic connection within the client’s auric field. The auric field is cleansed and rebalanced as well.
The Rite of the Womb is specifically designed to concisely clear heavy energy and any lingering energetic imprints from past partners and collective female suppression.
-
Physical sensations: cool or warm sensations, light pressure forming and/or releasing in different parts of the body, light nerve twitches or muscle spasms, energetic popping sensations, the feeling of hands on another part of their body, or the need to take a deep cleansing breath as emotion or stress rises in the chest to be released.
Emotional releases: a rush of feelings or tears like when memories or triggers come up, old emotions that may not be attached to any thought or memory may come up to be witnessed and let go
Psychic impressions – them may receive insight through their own inner vision, such as but not limited to, seeing colors, witnessing events or memories, being shown metaphoric images that may have personal meaning, experiencing a claircognitive understanding (simply knowing), and more
***These all do eventually pass and do not last the entire session. The practitioner guides the client back to their breathing, anchoring them through these experiences, which will ease and subside.
-
Set a clear intention for what they want to energetically approach during the session, whether it be personal, ancestral, collective, or what have you
Consider what energy they’d like to manifest in their creative center
Actively open themselves to the healing energy during the energetic transmission
Allow for emotional releases and other sensations to arise, be witnessed, and let go of, by using the breath as a vehicle for moving the energetic release out of the body
Consciously nurture the healing transmission following the ceremony by taking responsibility for your healing process, making conscious effort by taking inspired action towards your intentions.
Take the experience seriously and respect their own healing process
Prepare by wearing comfortable clothes, turn their phone off, leave all distractions in the car or in the other room and be ready to relax – attend to their bodily needs prior to the session and make sure to have eaten a meal or snack recently
Arrive to the session on time with an open mind (with some nerves or jitters that are totally normal), ready to receive the healing that serves their highest good
Surrender to the healing experience and allow themselves to impartially witness what arises for them: acknowledging memories, thoughts, emotions, etc., knowing it is being shown to them for the purpose of their acknowledgement and intentional release – they complete the healing process, even by doing this on an unconscious or subconscious level
Allow for emotional releases and other sensations to arise, be witnessed, and let go of, by using the breath as a vehicle for moving the energetic release out of the body
Avoid attaching to anything that comes up during the session and resist the need to psychoanalyze and assess the information. Let the wisdom of the experience unfold over the next days and weeks
Likewise, when receiving the summary of the session, simply listen and feel for what resonates, makes sense and feels personally true
Stay committed to their healing journey, apply the guidance received as they see fit in their life, and follow-up with more sessions or their mental health care provider, if applicable.
-
Engage in creative expression intentionally, reclaiming their creative energy by whatever means inspire them or give them joy
There is an integration period, as the energetic seed of the ceremony takes root and it is helpful to journal about their ceremony, feelings, thoughts and experiences, etc.
They may immediately feel light or filled with exciting energy and that will settle. They may feel at peace and relaxed, or even a bit tired or drained if them released a lot.
If they feel anything like dizziness, it’s recommended to ground their physical body by placing their bare hands or feet on the earth and repeating out loud “I ground down into the Earth” three times.
They may need more food or water as their body processes the energetic releases and experience
Prioritize good sleep after their session and limit screen time to allow the high-vibrational, balanced state to last longer.
They may have dreams pertaining to their healing, or sudden insights or revelations regarding themselves and their experiences. Journal these if them feel called to track over time.
Optional to perform the Water Ritual for 13 days following:1. Each day fill a small glass or bowl with clean water
2. Hold the bowl in their hands, breathing deeply, send their healing intentions into the water with gratitude.
3. Speak the rite of the womb into the water “The womb is not a place to store fear and pain; the womb is to create and give birth to life.”
4. Pour the blessed water over the earth as an offering to the Earth
Repeat this for 13 days, and if them miss one of them may continue until 13 are complete.
What is a Womb Healing Ceremony not?
Neither the Womb Healing Ceremony nor the Rite of the Womb is a medical procedure, religious dogma, or a quick fix. It’s an energetic and spiritual transmission that requires active personal participation to integrate the healing experience.
It’s not a replacement for medical or mental health care, therapy, or physical healing for physiological conditions.
It is not a religion, nor does it require conversion to any specific faith. It is an indigenous spiritual practice open to all beliefs. It plants an energetic seed.
It is not a magic wand that instantly removes all trauma without the requirement of taking self-responsibility and doing the personal inner work.
It is not gender-locked or exclusive to only women, it is open to all who wish to heal.
It is not part of the foundational 9 Munay-Ki rites – it was added later as a specific response to the need for collective trauma clearing.
